Five years ago the National Center for Sexual Exploitation (NCSE) created the Dirty Dozen list exposing twelve corporations perpetuating sexual exploitation through pornography, prostitution, sexual objectification and human trafficking.
According to NCSE, "the Dirty Dozen List is an activism tool that gives back power to individuals who want a voice in the culture. People can participate by taking easy online actions, from sending emails to sharing social media messages."
The Dirty Dozen List has united thousands of individuals to create monumental change. The list has led to improvements at companies like Google, Hilton Worldwide, Verizon, Walmart and the Department of Defense.
The 2018 Dirty Dozen list includes iBooks, Snapchat, Steam, Twitter and YouTube. Click HERE to view the entire list and to learn what you can do to combat sexual exploitation.
