At the age of twelve, Jordan Lee wrote a letter to her future husband telling him of her commitment to save herself only for him. In her recent blog post, Jordan admits that her 12-year-old promise proved challenging as she got older. "That sounds like a pretty easy gig at 12 before puberty and cute boys really hit the scene," she wrote.
When Jordan faced moments of temptation or doubt she would reflect on her promise and write another letter to him. She found writing to be a way of connecting and coping with the pressures she faced.
