The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood recently released a report outlining the following dangers of this direct marketing strategy:
- Increased sedentary screen time
- Exposure to junk-food marketing
- Loss of valuable instructional time in school
- Encouraging gambling behaviors
- Exposure to the league's off-the-field controversies."
