Dropping cable and satellite services and switching to internet based TV is becoming a trend among many families. Recent Nielsen reports have found 4 in 10 families subscribe to some form of streaming service such as Netflix, Amazon or Hulu. These services allow viewers to stream TV shows and movies from the Internet to their TVs, computers and portable devices.
Covenant Eyes, an organization known for its internet accountability software, recently created a video to help set parental controls on the most common of these streaming services, Netflix. Although these simple steps will help create a defense against negative content, it is also important to educate children on proper boundaries.
