Among the busy summer schedules teenagers can have, time can be of the essence. From working or attending summer school to finding time to spend with friends, their schedules can fill up very quickly. Here are some ideas of how to set boundaries for your teens:
Keep It In Perspective - Continue to have open discussions. Young adults can sometimes get carried away making things seem distorted. Help them feel comfortable to talk with you about their daily lives.
Obey all Curfews and Rules - As a parent, stick with the boundaries you have set. This allows for consistency and for your children to learn that obedience is key!
Accept Each Other - Your child is still growing into a unique individual. Always remember what quirky things make them who they are. They should still be valued during this developing stage in life!
