The government has been pushing schools to teach sex education to children of young ages. Residents from Shenandoah, Iowa have been resistant since a Planned Parenthood employee taught classes on sexual behavior and other explicit topics to 5 year-olds. When parents in Stanton, Iowa were made aware of a sexual abuse class intended for third graders by the same Planned Parenthood employee, the class was postponed. The government continues to provide funds for sex ed programs around the US. As parents, familiarize yourself with the education your students are receiving. Parents should be the primary educators, not the government. Let's stand up and protect our children from outside influences!
